Eskydeck is a stay in place forming system used to cast one-way ribbed suspended slabs. Lightweight, easy to install form components made from EPS (expanded polystyrene) are adaptable to most designs. Excellent for mid to long span applications requiring medium to heavy service loads. The stay in place formwork provides acoustical and thermal insulation properties while the ribbed design makes utility installations possible without needing dropped ceilings.

We can cantilever to the ratio of 3:1 (eg 6m one side you can cantilever 2m the other side - Eskydeck has the least amount of deflection).

Although Eskydeck is basically used as a one way ribbed floor, this is an example of using it as a two way ribbed floor that allows us to cantilever 2.4m radius with no weight going onto the segmented windows. This is just one example of the flexibility of the Eskydeck floor system. It can be adapted to many situations.
